Email notifications
Scheduled alerts can be set to send email notifications to one or more recipients, when the alert is "fired". Email notifications helps to organize people, groups of people or teams without having StarReminder installed. |

The recipients will get an email in their inbox containing the alert datetime in the email's title and the alert description in the email's body. An email signature that will be attached to all email notifications can be added.
An iCalendar (.ICS) file can be send (by user preference) as attachment in each email notification. The receipients can import the iCalendar file in their Calendar software.

In order to enable email notifications you must setup an email SMTP account. The built-in SMTP email mechanism supports email accounts that require server authentication and secure servers with SSL encryption. Gmail and yahoo email accounts are supported.
